Bring Out The Good

A collaboration that brings to life the optimistic and adventurous being from my painting Bring Out The Good, beautifully embodied by Rogerio Alves. The body painting was masterfully done by Estelle Riviere.

The film also features Lamb Face (Tammy Nicholls), inspired by my painting 111.

Lamb Face

Lamb Face was originally a character from one of my paintings, titled 111. She is part of an ensemble representing my imaginary childhood friends. For my first solo exhibition, I wanted to bring the beings in my paintings to life, and photography became the portal I had been seeking.

The individuals who portray my beings in the photographs are carefully chosen for their innate qualities that align with the concept. They are also willing to fully surrender themselves to the creative unfolding.

Lamb Face is portrayed here by Tammy Nicholls.

(See May 2010 entry here, Home Ground, for this painting.)
