Double Fantasy Live - Yoko Ono's Meltdown

When Bishi  asked me to document her monumental evening performing on the final night of Yoko Ono's Meltdown Festival, I was more than happy to join the ride!

Standing in the wings, I could sense  the anticipation of each performer as they stepped onto the stage, silently cheering them on. I hope to have captured some of the evening's spirit in these photos

C-R-U-X

C-R-U-X is the fantastical brainchild of Matthew Glamorre and Bishi — a radical, cross-disciplinary collaboration that combines live performance, sound, visuals, and technology.

Musicians, lighting designers, poets, digital artists, filmmakers, and interactive technicians create new works live in a TV/sound studio environment. An invited audience observes the creative process on large screens in the gallery area and is encouraged to join in the action 'behind the curtain'.

I am the official photographer for C-R-U-X — a truly wonderful project to be part of.
